As you may be aware, Sizwe Hosmed Medical Scheme has recently been placed under curatorship. We understand that some members have already experienced challenges accessing healthcare services at hospitals, doctors, or pharmacies, whilst we have also experienced service level issues regarding the following matters:
1. Claims payment confirmation
2. Timeous deduction of premiums
3. General enquiries delayed.
Given the potential risk of continued disruption to healthcare access, our priority has been to obtain a stable and reliable alternative for our clients.

1. An Alternative Solution Secured
As part of our commitment to protect your access to healthcare, FinSide has secured underwriting-free cover with KeyHealth Medical Scheme. A special concession applies, allowing FinSide clients and dependants currently active on their medical scheme membership to transfer without underwriting, waiting periods or late joiner penalties.

3. How to Transfer to KeyHealth
The transfer process is designed to be seamless. Should you elect to move to KeyHealth, simply complete the electronic acceptance form at the link below:
By submitting the form, you confirm that you understand and accept the terms and conditions, and that your membership will transfer to KeyHealth effective 1 January 2026.
Important: Please ensure to have your termination letter ready to be uploaded when submitting your KeyHealth transfer form (download the termination form HERE).

4. Important Next Steps
If you elect to join KeyHealth, please following the steps below:
1 Terminate your Sizwe Hosmed Membership
To formally terminate your Sizwe Hosmed membership, you must complete and sign a termination form. Click below to access the termination document:

The signed termination form can be uploaded via the electronic acceptance form link (click HERE) or emailed to us at medical@finside.co.za. FinSide’s accredited advisors are available to provide support with any questions and you can reach our dedicated team by means of the contact information listed in the final section of this communication.
2 Cancel your Sizwe Hosmed Debit Order
Remember to stop your Sizwe Hosmed debit order with your bank effective 1 January 2026. Even if your January debit order has not yet gone off, it is important to cancel it directly with your bank.
3 Important Deadline
All electronic acceptance forms and termination letters must be submitted no later than 26 January 2026.
